Welcome to the Bubble Inn - a small but growing family of gastro pubs in Derbyshire, where we offer top quality food and drink in relaxed and characterful surroundings. Since opening our first Bubble Inn in Stenson, near Derby in 2009, our goal has been to provide the very best dining experience for our guests.
Now, with pubs in Birmingham, Swadlincote, Ashbourne and Atherstone, we are widely known for our great food, which is freshly prepared on site, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We offer a tasty selection of food in all of our venues and our menu has a fresh and authentic Mediterranean twist, which celebrates the Greek Cypriot heritage of our founder Konstantinos Eleftheriou.

There's a reason why the Bubble Inn Stenson is a destination pub within the Derby area. Overlooking the Trent and Mersey canal and the famous Stenson lock, this fabulous former barn mixes plenty of character and history. Inside, there's everything you'd expect to see of the original building - rustic flagstone floors traditional brick features, a grand double-sided fireplace and wooden beamed ceilings.
There is history abound at the Bubble Inn Furnace End, with the Grade II listed building dating back to 1534. This pub is full of character - there's traditional dcor, cosy nooks and low beamed ceilings - and you're sure to spot the ancient hooks adorning the walls of the lower restaurant. The heritage is evident throughout the building, which is also rumoured to be haunted.
Located in the heart of the charming village of Coton-in-the-Elms on the edge of the National Forest, the Bubble Inn is a characterful country pub, dating back to the turn of the century. The landlords Sallyann Carlin and Martin Taylor - a former professional footballer with Derby County - offer a very warm welcome.
A warm welcome awaits you at the recently opened Bubble Inn Ashbourne. This family-friendly country pub has been refurbished and is now a laid back and homely space to enjoy quality home cooked food and a drink. Located just two and a half miles from Ashbourne and within easy reach of Carsington Water, Matlock Bath and the Peak District, the Bubble Inn is a favourite for locals and passers-by.
Located right on the high street in the market town of Atherstone, The Bubble Inn is the latest pub to join our group of quality gastro pubs. The Bubble Inn team - led by general manager Cass Rana - offers a warm welcome to all, with comfortable surroundings and excellent customer service. The pub also sells a wide variety of cask ales, guest ales, wines and a choice of up to 20 gins from the gin range.

Nice atmosphere, good beer, excellent food and friendly staff. Went twice in 4 days when staying locally for a week. Check out the menu first as it is not just normal Pub Grub. The kebabs are excellent with the best Tzatziki and Halloumi I have had outside of Greece. Meat was excellent too. Try the Mad Greek!

My partner & I had a fabulous meal here. The food was so fresh & tasty. My ONLY negative would be that waitresses are obviously not allocated certain tables, and we were frequently asked the same thing by various people. Otherwise, it was 1st class!! Will definitely be back and suggest friends try it.

Huge disappointment really. We ordered over lockdown for collection and it was terrible and we said we would go in when they reopened to give it another try but was let down again. Shame really as the staff are all very friendly and helpful but the food was just disappointing. The £28 ribeye steak was more of a mistake. Was tough and dry and tasted of nothing, same for the diane sauce was completely plain and tasteless. The chicken was dry and hard also but when you charge £28 for a steak you better be damn sure you know what your doing with it. Seems like a nice pub for a drink but wouldn't

If your coming Sundays dinners OK ,unfortunately avoid the steaks over priced and tasteless.
Never left a meal without eating before , this was awful, no taste , the sauce was also tastless, now need to go home and get myself something to eat.
Really disappointed and definitely will never return.
Apologies for a really poor review but needed to post this so others don't share my experince.
You need to know the quality does not match your prices.
Also you have served us cold custard, frozen apple pie .
Not sure if you have had a new chef or its just been a bad day
Again sorry but any readers

What an amazing place!! From the moment we stepped inside the staff were friendly and attentive, the selection of drinks available (especially gin) was great. The food was absolutely incredible and the best meal we have had in a long time, the starters, mains and puddings were all as delicious as each other. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!

Very good value well cooked food, and even cheaper weekday luchtimes.
Good portions, but some carvers are more generous than others - even so my gentle hint about me not being on a diet was met with a smile and another slice of beef on my plate.
Beers vary and are generally well looked after.
A new 'curry carvery' is meant to be starting, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.

Lovely pub that is situated on a lock of the trent/mersey canal. Has been converted from large barn. Good food served - also do 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £12 which is very popular. Range of real ale, with several different lagers. Large sofas located in front of a fire. Also has pool table. Worth a visit during the summer when you can sit at the tables outside and watch the boats on the canal. Has a bbq and fireworks for Guy Fawkes night which is always busy.
