At Dollar Nursery School, we believe experiential learning is vital, for that reason we will provide opportunities for children to gain their full potential, thus enabling them to develop confidence in a fun, safe and caring environment. Each playroom is carefully planned and resourced to create attractive learning environments.
We have a large enclosed garden which is used regularly as an extension of our learning environment. Each child has their own key worker who tracks, monitors and assesses their key children's development, in order to plan the next steps. They will observe and assess your child's development and fully involve you at all times.

Services
We have a child-centred approach to experiential learning. Children at Dollar Nursery are encouraged to choose and plan activities and learning experiences for themselves, to be fully involved in their own learning. Each child has their own key worker who tracks, monitors and assesses their key children's development, in order to plan the next steps.
I would like to welcome you to Dollar Nursery School in the picturesque town of Dollar. My name is Carolyn Riddle and I am the owner and manager of the nursery, having taken over in 2012. My background as a former primary school head teacher has given me the grounding to develop Dollar Nursery School into a facility of excellence for children aged 0-12 years.
A huge thank you for all you have done for our son. He has really enjoyed his time at Dollar Nursery and is now ready for the next big steps in his life. The experiences and skills he has had at Nursery has helped him develop into the wonderful little boy he is now and for that we thank you. We genuinely think you are wonderful and are so grateful for how well you have cared for our son.
We offer a drop off and pick up service to and from local Primary Schools each morning and afternoon. We offer an extra pick up service to combine after school activities. The Out of School Club offers a range of planned daily activities as well as providing the opportunity to do homework. We run a Holiday Club whenever schools are off whether it be in-service days or annual holiday.
