Superb holiday cottages set within the stunning enviroment of Coldingham Loch on the south east coast of the Scottish Borders. We offer a range of self-catering holiday cottages & superb fly fishing all set within a small estate with a spectacular coastal location. Open all year round, our 3 stone cottages and 3 wooden cabins provide guests with cosy, well -equipped & comfortably furnished accommodation in a beautiful, secluded setting.
All six cottages have their own outdoor space for sitting out to enjoy the peace and quiet or listening to the birds and each has parking outside the cottage for 2 cars. Five of our cottages (not Lochside Cottage) are dog friendly with no extra charge for dogs. The loch is one of the oldest trout fisheries in Scotland and we now operate as a members water with the loch being home to members club, Coldingham Loch Fly Fishers.

Services
Coldingham Loch is owned and managed by husband and wife, Gareth Taylor and Carmel Kennedy. This 60 acre estate has been operating as a fly fishery complemented by holiday accommodation for over 40 years.
We bought the loch and cottage in 2011 and continue to build on its strong reputation for providing memorable holidays in an idyllic setting for anyone looking for a restorative break away from busy lives - couples, families, groups of friends, fly fishers, walkers, wildlife watchers, photographers. We are lucky to call this our home and living here ourselves we can offer as much or as little advice on the local area as guests would like.

Unique Victorian boathouse sits over the loch and comes with its own fishing boat moored underneath. In a beautiful spot across the loch from the Fishing Lodge this cottage offers guests the chance to really get away from it all, watch the trout rise in the loch, enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife and some lucky few may get chance to see the otters that reside on the loch.
Coldingham Loch is a natural spring fed 22 acre loch set in approx 60 acres of land & the holiday cottages are scattered around the site. The loch is one of Scotland's oldest established fisheries and has a well earned reputation for being a fantastic place to enjoy a top quality days fishing and/or a fabulous holiday.
Coldingham Loch is a natural spring fed 22 acre Loch uniquely positioned in close proximity to the magnificent cliffs of the Berwickshire coast. As the only eutrophic (naturally nutrient rich) loch in the Scottish Borders, the water supports a wide variety of fly life and is well known for offering some of the best top of the water fly fishing in Scotland.
Both the local area and the Scottish Borders are renowned for being a beautiful area full of places of interest, things to do and fantastic scenery to enjoy. Here is just a small sample of local activities that guests can enjoy. There are plenty of walks from Coldingham Loch as the Berwickshire coastal path is about 200m walk from the loch & there you will find the highest cliffs on the east coast of Britain.

I am extremely lucky to stay near by. This really is Heaven on Earth. Carmel and Gareth who own and run the whole place like clockwork. I can only say, two of the nicest, friendliest, welcoming Couple. I have the pleasure to know. I have also met two wonderful people from Yorkshire who I first encountered, 8 years ago whilst they were up staying in the Chalets and fishing for the week and become friends with them. They return year after year.
I CAN NOT Praise this enough.
