Bought a car from Archie August 2017, went for test drive and husband went to look at engine and seen there was a cap missing. We phoned Archie to say and he said its ok just drive back, alarm bells should have gone off. Anyway bought car in cash 1,400.00, after picking up car had to take car back which Archie sorted. Fast forward to Feb 2020 and unfortunately car failed M.O.T and paid £770 to get car back on road, then another £224 as something went wrong with steering. Went to Arnold Clark in Falkirk and used the car as part exchane only to find out my car is a right off, my husband phoned

Absolutely astonished by what happened.
Bought a car there, and I was told it was completely okay.
Brought it to my mechanic for a check and he found the car was barely roadworthy.
Damaged tire, clutch at the end of its days, whole chassis rusted and breaks completely worn down.
Car will be returned, will update to let you know what happens.
I have contacted the seller and he was as surprised as I was.
He told me to come back to him to work something out, which is a good starting point.
Will update review when everything has settled in order to give a complete view of the experience
