This list is by no means exhaustive. Amelia worked with care and consideration, providing clear advice on the recovery process and the dos and don'ts. In a couple of months my recovery was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend Amelia to anyone. After two sessions, my back and hip pain have resolved completely.

I have been made to feel very relaxed and comfortable by Amelia and she has used a holistic approach to my problems and has given me some really useful lifestyle advice. The whole experience has been really positive. Most everyday activities involve use of our arms and shoulders and in order to allow you normal use, the shoulder joint is designed to be very flexible.
Services
The practice aims to provide fast, effective, professional osteopathic treatment for all our patients, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Amelia graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004 gaining a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy.
In the UK a third of the population are suffering with back pain and up to 80% of the adult population will suffer significant back pain at some time in their life. Back pain may be referred to the hip, groin, buttocks, the leg and foot as sciatica. The main causes of most low back pain are muscular weakness and postural strain due to being overweight, sitting too much, lack of exercise, unequal leg-length, trauma or over-exercise.
Osteopathy is a physical therapy using entirely manual techniques, whose comprehensive system of examination, diagnosis, treatment and management aim to help restore normal, pain free function to any area of our bodies where it has been lost. Although we are best known for treating 'bad backs', osteopaths can effectively treat a wide range of injuries, aches and pains in all parts of the body.
I have a long history of back pain and at the beginning of 2018 I found myself in pain unable to undertake normal daily tasks. I took up a recommendation, from my wife and daughter, to see Amelia and over a period of six consultations she worked with care and consideration, providing clear advice on the recovery process and the dos and don'ts, and within a couple of months my recovery was complete.
