Simply Waste Solutions is a waste management company with an ideal at its heart. We strive towards creating a circular economy where your waste powers your business: computers run on electricity generated from residual waste; signage is printed on board recycled from your coffee cups; and canteen food is grown with compost from anaerobic digesters fed by your canteen waste.
Formed from humble beginnings, Simply Waste Solutions has now become one of the UK's largest independently owned waste management companies. Starting in 2006 with just a handful of people and a second-hand truck, Simply Waste Solutions now operates a national waste service making more than 20,000 collections a week, managing more than 80,000 tonnes of waste per year, with a fleet of 50 vehicles and a team of more than 130 waste professionals.
My Job role entails the different types of invoicing - monthly, monthly rebates, weekly and working on and from different spreadsheets, creating spreadsheets to go along with consolidated invoices. Payments received from customers, bank reconciliations, drivers wages, customer queries and self-bills.

Residual Waste is the term we use for materials that are not easily recyclable also referred to as General Waste or Trade Waste. These can include things such as hard plastics, sweet and crisp wrappers, polystyrene and soiled food wrapping. Residual waste is prevalent in all businesses, but should, where possible, take second place to a Dry Mixed Recycling collection system.

Yesterday I left a negative review on simply waste’s page. This morning I got a message from an ex colleague saying someone named Alex from simply waste called asking for me. I was shocked! Imagine being… tracked down in order to get me to delete the review. I am shocked to my core by this absurd behaviour. It’s one thing to message me on Facebook but to find out where I worked and call them, that is harassment. I deleted the review this morning thinking I don’t want any trouble but the whole day I felt like my privacy had been violated. I am going to post the negative

We are being serviced by Simply Waste Solutions after a disagreement with our previous collectors. I like the fact that Simply has a zero to landfill policy which makes them a bit better than others. We actually managed to get a good price for our 2 1,100l bins. The representative which we spoke to was Douglas.

Almost ran over my girlfriend while she was riding through Fenchurch street 27th June at 19:43pm. Overtook and then cut in, if she hadn't braked hard she would have been under the wheels. Driver totally ambivalent and unapologetic. We would like to know the name of the driver for our police report. License plate: EJI4 ZGU.
