Services
Osteopathy is a musculoskeletal consultancy that treats many conditions but most people think of us as back specialists. Step-by-step we will explain what we are doing and what we want to achieve during treatment. Your questions during the consultation are welcomed. Our extensive practical training gives us the 'hands-on' skills needed for a reliable diagnosis and effective treatment.
The initial consultation with treatment is 40 minutes and is charged at 55. Subsequent appointments last up to 40 minutes and are 55. Home visits are priced at 85. Most insurance companies will include cover for Osteopathy. Our normal policy is for the patient to pay after each session or treatment.
We're proud to be one of the leading Osteopaths in the Cambridge and Milton areas. We're based in the Cambridge Science Park which can be easily reached by many transport links including car, bus, train and bike. Our Osteopaths are highly qualified and are from some of the top Osteopathy Universities in England.
Dry needling provides a fast effective route to pain relief through the use of fine needles inserted into trigger points in muscles. The needles penetrate deep into knots of muscles to relieve tension and increase blood flow to the region. They can hit stubborn knots with precision, even when the source of pain seems to be buried so deep as to be inaccessible to massage.
We serve the area of Cambridge particularly Chesterton, Milton and surrounding villages. Following the closure of nearby John Lant Partners we are welcoming more patients to the clinic and have additional cover to meet this need. The initial consultation with treatment is 40 minutes and is charged at 55. Subsequent appointments last up to 40 minutes and are 55.

I pulled my back in January of this year climbing up a ladder. It kept hurting now and again so on a friend's recommendation I made an appointment malisa was on maternity leave so she recommended one of her colleagues. After the first visit I felt fine a week later I lifted something at work and was in pain again. I had a repeat appointment so it wasn't too bad on arrival I told the lady what had happened she felt my back and said I'd locked up a bit so she told me to lay on my side. She realigned me on both sides. For the rest of the appointment she restted her arm on stomach and under my back

I've been seeing Melissa at Spritely Osteopathy for a number of years now and I can't recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has seen me through a range of running niggles and managed to get me up and about again as quickly as possible.
She has also armed me with a range of stretches to avoid recurrence of certain injuries (my ITB issue has never reappeared) and I've recommended her to a number of friends who have also all become regular clients. A great, knowledgeable osteopath.

Melissa gave me a thorough assessment, and took the time to explain where she thought the problem areas were. She worked on these areas over a period of several weeks and I experienced a noticeable improvement in comfort in that time and after. She also gave me advice on things I could do to remain relatively discomfort-free in the future. Her service was both friendly and professional.

I highly recommend Melissa at Spritely Osteopathy. She is so professional and clearly knows exactly what she's doing and talking about. I have been to see her several times over the years for various things and each time, I find the problem has improved so much even after just one session. I recently even came to see her for a sports injury (muscle strain) which I didn't realise I could see an osteopath for and it's done wonders for it. I really can't recommend her enough.

Every time I went to see Melissa was a pleasure. I'd never been to an Osteopath before, but, paradoxically, I felt comfortable getting treated. Everything, from the possible causes of my symptoms, down to the intended result of every squeeze and crack, was explained.
Although my case ended in me needing surgery, it was an inevitable process that was diagnosed and initiated by Mel (when other medical professionals had not). She alleviated my discomfort as much as possible until my operations.
Thanks Melissa!

I went to Spritely with a sort of slight upper-back discomfort, on the recommendation of a colleague. Not only did she fix that, but she also fixed several other low-level niggles I'd given up hope of ever going away. The best bit is that the fixes included advice on specific stretches and exercise, so the problems stay fixed and I don't need to keep going back. That said, if I ever had these or any other muscular/skeletal/postural problems flare-up I'd be right back there. I was very pleased with the service.
