Established in 2013 Shop in the Square is a collective of 20+ designers from the West Midlands showcasing their products in Wolverhampton City Centre. Originally started through Portas Pilot funding, after six months the shop registered as a Community Interest Company and has gone from strength to strength since.
Now housed in Wolverhampton's Mander Shopping Centre, the shop houses creative makes from over 20 local handmade businesses, giving each the opportunity to sell on the high street. From homeware to jewellery, the shop hosts a wealth of carefully selected talent, meaning you are always sure to find something for that perfect gift!

I went into this shop today, and to be frank, I was absolutely shocked by the amount of foul language that was on display.
The F word was absolutely everywhere as if it was normal. And the misogynistic references to women on some of the horrible items for sale was sickening!
And when I made this observation to the pink and blue haired sales assistant she got vaguely aggressive, which doesn't surprise me given the type of merchandise for sale.
There should be a warning on the front of this store, and if they want to sell vile items with every vulgarity known to man on it, they can sell it on

Shop in the Square. It's a quaint little place where you can get some little gifts for those people you just don't know what to buy. The shop in the Square is located in Queens Square just round the corner from the Halifax Bank. The buses are frequent with many just stopping just down the road from there. There are also plenty of places to eat there like KFC, Greggs, Valerie Patisserie, plenty of public house that do meals and just round the corner in Victoria Street there are toilets with a. Attendant on site. Why not have a look in next time you are in City Wolverhampton centre. Don't forget
