Since launching in 1984, Houghton International has gone from strength to strength to reach a multinational status that makes our entire team proud. Houghton International was founded by Ron and Christine Mitten in 1984 and was set up to supply coils to Portland Electrical Repairs in Nigeria.

Utilising our many years of technical experience and problem-solving approach we develop coils that perform at high altitudes, frequency and voltage. With a strong history of innovation and new product development we work alongside companies such as Rolls-Royce and Siemens to develop new and pioneering power generation technologies.
