Services
Harwood Park is owned and managed by the Austin Family, who have served the community as funeral directors for over three centuries. W. Austin and Sons Limited was originally established in 1700 in Graveley in Hertfordshire. It passed down through the generations and in 1965 John Austin - father to Claire, the current managing director - took over the helm.
Using Sat Nav to get here? Our postcode has been incorrectly calibrated on some SatNav systems so please check directions with the map. The price of funerals has risen over the years*, and many people prefer to make provision for the cost now. The Hertfordshire Funeral Plan is a pre-payment funeral plan exclusive to Austin's Funeral Directors.

This crematorium has obviously been carefully thought out and planned. It lies in beautiful grounds with plenty of parking. I have been to two recent funerals there. The services were both very good. One thing I like is that you can look out on Hertfordshire countryside rather than just look at the coffin whilst remembering the person who has passed away. The layout also means you don't really interact with groups of other mourners.
