Make you jump through all their hoops!! Even go to the trouble of saying you've been accepted by the landlord for the tenancy! Just to rip it from under you due to "unforseen circumstances". The only positive experience I can take away from this is the gent who showed me around was a true professional!!

Just wanted to say I've been a Tennant who's landlord provides services through Field Palmer since 2008. We've been extremely lucky to have received good communications, empathy, understanding and flexibility during these years. We have 6 monthly checks although many find this annoying/invasion it's part of their role and keeps houses checked for faults damage etc which we accept. Always friendly on these home checks and more recently Sarah Thompson is really prompt when arranging professionals to fix faults.
I would recommend and so far have no complaints.

My first issue with them was the compulsory and expensive agency fee i had to pay even thought i found the room via one of the current tenants! Unbelievable!
I have been living in the house for almost a year now and they haven't been able to fix things in time...
Our fridge was broken and our food was getting frozen every so often resulting in throwing away my groceries almost every week! By the time they replaced our fridge i had ended up keeping my food at work!
I like the house but i would not recommend them as agency, terrible on sorting out issues and terrible agency fees for new

1. The initial fee for reference checks was a ghastly £180
2. I am unable to finish sentences on the phone before they cut me off.
My shower has been leaking for a few weeks now and after endless run around of "handyman this" and "part ordering that" we still have yet to have it fixed. I understand things take time but the letting agent should be chasing it up to push it along, not only following up on the problem when I call. I guess it's not urgent for them as it's not their ££ leaking down the drain.
