With over 50 years of experience in the civil engineering industry, we have developed a business model which combines in-house consultancy expertise with our excellent operations and work force teams on the ground.
In 1963 Anthony Baldwin (above middle) acquired the first parts of plant and machinery that would go on to form the basis of Edburton. Edburton quickly established a reputation for reliability, cost effectiveness, and high quality of service. The company grew steadily and successfully over the ensuing decades, becoming a leading civil engineering force.
Edburton is proud to provide an array of civil engineering services and solutions, with each project receiving the same level of professional and expert care, no matter what scale or size, or whether it be either for a private or public client. Edburton's services include an extensive range of Groundworks, Recycled Aggregate Supplies and a comprehensive set of Plant & Haulage available to hire.
Edburton have been working with Brighton & Hove City Council for over 15 years delivering their Highways Maintenance contract and delivering highway improvement schemes. Edburton have been working with Crawley Borough Council for 10 years delivering their Civil Engineering and Hard Landscaping Minor Works contract and highway improvement schemes.
Being blessed with decent weather and an unexpectedly high turnout, the event was deemed a success by the independent Race Adjudicator, by comments from numerous race participants and by our own club members, 90% of whom were volunteers on the day.
Mel's Milers fund raising activities 2016 are directed to making a contribution toward the cost of The Sussex Macmillan Cancer Support Centre, Brighton a joint project by the Sussex Cancer Fund and Macmillan to provide care & support for cancer patients in Sussex.The generous support of our event by Edburton Contractors will greatly assist our efforts in this endeavour, and the final outcome will be reported to you in due course.

Used Edburtons for some works as part of an event for Brighton Festival and although the quote was not the cheapest I cannot fault the service in any way. Really great communication, lots of clarity and info, they really took a long look at the situation to fully understand all the details in advance.
I annoyingly had to change some dates around (twice) at the last minute but this was all handled with great humor and professionalism.
All works were completed to a very high standard and on time.
