I just wanted to observe, based on my last two telephone calls, that the staff seem to be trying very hard to improve service. The new telephone message is clear, helpful and friendly, and my particular enquiry (which was for a doctor's letter) was handled well. I do think it is better that those folk who feel more comfortable and/or able to use the phone rather than AskMyGp are now given the opportunity to wait for their call to be taken. I know, for example, that my mother-in-law who has dementia would never be able to use AskMyGP. So it's good that you seem to have made this option clearer to

Lovely doctors and nurses at this surgery. Reception could do with some customer service training although they have a tough job. If you don’t want to tell the receptionist what’s wrong with you, just use the app and book your appointment. Let’s face it, they can see your record anyway so what’s the big secret? They don’t need all the details, just the headlines.

Absolute waste of time. The old receptionist`s where lovely and helpful.
Get called by a nurse instead of a doctror. Even when you requested specifically to speak to a doctor.
You can't see a doctor. And when you get the telephone consultation they rang you at 7 in the evening.
Some of the doctors doesn't have a clue what they are doing!

Shocking. Conditions ignored. Misdiagnosis. Extremely poor patient communication. Little or no face to face consultation so critical conditions being missed. Some receptionists need training in customer service, civility costs nothing and if the attitude is condoned by management they also need training. Phone appointments booked but don't happen. Worst practice I've ever encountered

The worst doctors in the Borough. Miss diagnose conditions, give wrong medication to people who are allergic to some medicines, never speak to a proper doctor when needed and can't always get seen. Receptionist are usually abrubt and rude and are quick to hang up a call, sometimes you feel like no one listens to you.

Shocking service. The doctors are good, but it the receptionist who seem to have done 7 years at medical school who are horrible and rude. If I want to see a doctor book me in. I will tell the doctor why not you! It private, also why can’t you just book the appoint rather than getting me to us app. Isn’t that your job?? If we all use the app you would be out of a job.

The doctors and nurses themselves are wonderful, but the receptionists (with the exclusion of the young, blonde girl) are awful. They act like you’re asking for something that’s such a nuisance, when all you want is to check a prescription. The fact the ask my gp service is only open for 30 minutes in the morning (7:45-8:15) is an absolute joke. Not everyone is awake then, or can’t get online (taking kids to school) if you miss the cut off and try to ring them instead they say they can’t help and to try ask my GP The next day. They say don’t ask for a prescription online, but the sign
