Wootton Community Primary School
My name is Jane Wilford and I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of a vibrant and rapidly improved school, where children have outstanding behaviour. We are situated between Ryde and Newport with children joining us from the immediate locality and further afield.

We are an inclusive school nestled in the heart of the community and with the support of committed and talented staff; we strive to ensure that the children are always at the centre of what we do.Our children are encouraged to be confident and engaged with their own learning, being challenged at their own level with high aspirations and expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to consider Wootton Primary School as a suitable school for your child. We would love to welcome your child to start their exciting new learning journey at Wootton Primary School. The school provides lots of opportunities for children and parents to get to know the staff here at Wootton.
Headteachers should determine the number of school days a child can be away from school if leave is granted. Amendments to the 2007 regulations will reduce the timescales for paying a penalty. Parents will have the opportunity to pay the reduced payment of 60 within 21 days or 120 within 28 days. Please see Miss Holmes in the front office for a form to request to remove a pupil from school during term time, or download one here.
