Gate Lodge is a Victorian house which has been extensively refurbished throughout and is situated close to the centre of Hunstanton. The sandy beaches, main shopping areas and the Princess Theatre are within easy walking distance. You are sure to appreciate the warm friendly and relaxing atmosphere, whilst being ideally placed for all the amenities that Hunstanton and the famous North Norfolk Coast have to offer.

All our accommodation is equipped to an extremely high standard with many little extras to ensure you have a memorable stay, including our luxury bedroom and two ground-floor bedrooms for easy access, overlooking the garden. The upper bedrooms enjoy sunset views over The Wash.

Our cheerful and spacious en-suite bedrooms, offer a Digital Television with Freeview and DAB Radio, a well stocked Hospitality Tray, Radio Alarm Clock, Hairdryer and much, much more. The decor in each bedroom has been carefully planned to make your stay all the more enjoyable. Our two ground floor bedrooms overlook our Award Winning Garden whilst all the upper bedrooms enjoy sea views looking out at the glorious sunsets over The Wash.

This was the second time me and my partner have stayed at the gate lodge and just like the first time it was excellent, Stephen and Archie always makes us feel welcome and the extra touches they did for my partner as she is vegan was exceptional, room was excellent and the food again excellent, will be coming back year after year, totally recommend.

Lovely room where the attention to details is fabulous - the shower height is tall enough for my 6’5” husband, there is a shaver point, cotton wool balls, pads and cotton buds, mirror with the perfect lighting to apply make up, a ceiling fan for hotter nights such as when we were there! Breakfast selection is really good, Steven & Archie are really friendly, and they are really open about the parking situation and suggest solutions instead of shying away from it.

A nice B&B only a few minutes walk from the town and beach. The room was nice and well kept. Absolutely loads of choice for breakfast and all nicely presented. Full English was lovely. The host are also very helpful.

Everything thing you could want and more can be found at Gate Lodge Guest House.
Archie and Stephen have kept to the true essence of a traditional B&B without compromising on cleanness/ service or hosting.
They have an exceptional period building with fantastic see views on the upper room floors. Welcome amenities are plentiful and thoughtful, lovely addition of a social lounge with honesty bar makes for an extra special stay.
Breakfast is outstanding with with all dietary and extra requests well catered for, nothing is too much for them.
