Services
We have a selection of slant bed CNC lathes with live tooling capabilities supported with a series of Hardinge flat bed lathes. This gives us the capacity to produce very small, complex turned parts up to 300mm diameter. We can manufacture complex CNC turned parts from a variety of metals including Stainless Steel, Aerospace Alloys, Titanium and Beryllium Copper to name but a few.
Here at Webber, in respect to our Milling capacity, we have a total of 4 CNC milling machines, accompanied by 2 bridgeport manual mills. Our milling capabilities include a CNC bridgeport, two YCM mills, and our new 5 Axis YCM machine. The maximum capabilities we have is 1 meter X 1 meter. We manufacture quantities ranging from 1 offs, up to large production runs.
Our latest acquisition to Webber precision is the NFX 380A, 5-Axis vertical milling machine. This Machine is designed especially for high quality, complex parts. From roughing to finishing, this machine will enable us to cut down on set up times as well as overall lead times, while increasing machining quality and the precision of complex machining processes.
Complex forms produced on our machining centres may be inspected using our co-ordinate measuring machine which has manual and fully programmable checking routines with the facility to produce reports for individual or a whole batch of components. Ideal for vital part production or first article reports.
WPE Produces a wide range of components for various industry sectors, the majority however are for the Aerospace, Defence, Oil and Gas industries. A broad scope of materials used include high corrosion resistant nickel content alloys such as Nimonic 90 and Inconel, bronze alloys, Stainless Steel variants.
