The Shoalstone
The Shoalstone enjoys incredible sea views across to Torquay and Lyme Bay and offers a relaxing and welcoming place to stay with on-site parking. We are minutes away from the Berry Head National Nature Reserve, the Shoalstone open-air seawater pool and the Breakwater beach, and are just a short pretty walk to the marina and the picturesque fishing port of Brixham.

We have some incredible National Trust properties on our doorstep including Agatha Christie's former home at Greenway on the River Dart and Coleton Fishacre, a 1930s arts and crafts home with stunning gardens. Dartmoor is a short drive away as are the villages and beaches of the stunning South Hams.

We stayed at The Shoalstone for 2 nights at the beginning of July. Everywhere was lovely and clean and.we loved the decor. Our room had seats by the bay window, which overlooked the sea...an amazing view! Our breakfast ( which we pre ordered) was delicious - obviously using local produce, including home made jam. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely return.

This is one of the best places we've stayed in ever. The hosts Sara and Gary are very pleasant and can't do enough to make your stay better. Our room was really comfortable and the breakfast were just bang on, and only a 15 minute stroll to the harbour and bars. Excellent all round and will definately stay there again.

Lovely hotel, perfectly situated, on-site parking can be trial and error, but had a wonderful stay, owners were very accommodating, room was lovely and clean, would definitely recommend. Might be an idea to provide a fan in rooms during peak heat, although fortunately we packed our own just incase!

Loved this place, great hosts could not do more for you, very welcoming. We stayed in room 4 very comfortable room that was ensuite on the first floor. You have a separate lounge area on the ground floor that you can sit in to relax read or chat amongst yourselves. It has a great view overlooking the Torbay. 10min walk into the heart of Brixham.

We have travelled a lot in the past years and this is definitely one of our favorite places to stay at. Gary and Sara have been the most lovely hosts and did everything to make our stay as comfortable and nice as possible. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated and our room (no. 2) felt like a home away from home - bright, modern, spacious, spotless clean, huge bed. There also is a separate ˋguest lounge´ - a beautiful room with sofas and a great ocean view. Breakfast is cooked to order with a lot of options to choose from, made from fresh ingredients of noticeable high quality. The
