I began my counselling career with Relate in 1976 (then known as Marriage Guidance). I then went on to pursue further training eventually qualifying as a psychologist and psychotherapist. Over the years of practice since 1976 I have worked in several different contexts with a very wide range of clients.
I have worked in the NHS as well as in private psychiatric hospitals. I have also developed a private practice which incorporates two different consulting rooms. The clients I have seen over this period have included those who are experiencing problems with relationships, work and redundancy, phobias, anxiety and panic attacks, eating disorders, addictions, depression, bereavement and loss, as well as low self-esteem.

Services
I charge 80 if you are paying yourself or 100 if you have private medical care. I also offer concessions to students but these rates only from 10.30am to 4.30pm. If you need to cancel any session at London Bridge please note that I require 48 hours notice if your appointment is out of peak hours e.g.
Psychotherapy will mean different things to different people. For some there will be a distinction between psychotherapy and counselling. Some of the typical problems that may bring people for counselling may include bereavement and grief, relationship difficulties or breakdown, panic or anxiety attacks, eating disorders, redundancy or stress in the workplace.
