The reception team was very helpful and kind. I have a good view facing the mountain, double bed is very comfortable, room is quite and air conditioned. The restaurant and bar quite rustic, food served are delicious and a lady name Toni worth to mention who was serving people with smile and kindness. The Manager should no well how good she was with the guests. I will recommend the Hotel to my friends and family. I would definitely come back.

The staff are what make this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. The person on reception, who we discovered was called Admiral Abbey, is warm, friendly and extremely helpful. He made the stay memorable. The breakfast was excellent, a comprehensive cold buffet and high quality, generous cooked breakfast.
The bedroom was very quiet, with heavy blackout curtains and a fridge. The central heating didn't come on so it was cold, although a portable radiator was provided. The bathroom was modern with a walk in shower, although should have been cleaner.
The hotel location is great with lovely countryside

The room and food were adequate and as to be expected. However the young man on reception, who appeared to be new to the role, was polite, professional and very helpful indeed. Though the room was acceptable, we asked if possible if we could have a more sunnier room. He dealt with this request efficiently and with good grace, whilst dealing with other clients. A young female colleague was looking after the bar and the restaurant, again could not fault her effort and performance, both members of staff made our stay, though for one night enjoyable.

Literally cannot say a bad thing about the Mercure Thame Lambert.
The hotel itself is lovely, I think 'quaint' works quite well for it. The facilities were great, the room was lovely and very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome! All of the staff were so friendly and very, very helpful. The breakfast options were simple but delicious. We had the afternoon tea on one of the days and it was really nicely done. The evening meals in the restaurant were fantastic. And around all of this there is safe distancing, masks to be worn when moving around communal
