Floods Tavern
Whether travelling by land or water, you'll always arrive to a warm welcome at Floods Tavern. Idyllically set on the picturesque banks of the River Great Ouse in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, we're a family friendly pub and restaurant offering an assortment of cask ales, fine wines, superior spirits and mouth watering pub grub enjoyed inside or out thanks to our tranquil riverside garden bar.

Maybe you fancy a pint of your favourite bitter after work, a catch up with the girls for a cold crisp glass of Pinot Grigio or treating the family to some classic British dishes with a modern twist. Floods offers it all under one roof.
Services
Situated in the charming market town of St Ives. Philip started his career at Floods 12 years ago as a glass collector and tried his hand at a few roles including kitchen porter, barman, bar supervisor, bar manager and now a very proud landlord. Floods is a charming Grade II listed building dating back to the 18th century offering a roaring log-fire in the winter and peaceful riverside views in the garden bar in the summer.

Excellent, traditional pub in St Ives - the interior is lovely, the beer garden has wonderful views across the Ouse and meadows (great for sunsets) and the staff are friendly, efficient and serve quality local ales.
IMHO, the best pub in St Ives.

We visited and really enjoyed the open outside court yard to the rear. It had limited area for seating along the river . The food and service were good. Only disappointed that the coffee machine had broken . Otherwise well worth going to.

Lovely outside area for drinks. Limited drinks could do with a bitter. Food would go down well. All said a very nice place and would go back.

The pub garden is its greatest feature (in summer obviously). Currently inside shut, but they have set up a great outside bar with excellent table service. Great view as sat by the river, and great to take the family for an afternoon refreshment! But, gets quite lively on the weekend evenings as well, so... cant go wrong!

Had a day out to St Ives today and thought the views in the garden of Floods Tavern looked stunning, so we decided to have lunch there. Views were beautiful, great to watch the river so busy with kayaks, paddle boarders and boats. Very bubbly, friendly staff at the Tavern but service was terribly slow and the fish (part of the plate of fish and chips) was inedible. Couldn't cut through it, as it was too rubbery and was like a minced mixture of fish, (seemed like it was a very cheap frozen fish from a cheap freezer shop). Hubby had lasagne which was bland and dry. Sorry Floods Tavern, appreciate

Had the delivered roast lamb. Was lovely! Portions were fab, both children loved it and plenty of gravy.

Happy hour on four real ales from local breweries plus great river views from the beer garden.
