Bury St Edmunds Physiotherapy Clinic
Established in 1987, our Chartered Physiotherapists, Sport Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer and Chartered Nutritionist continue to provide high quality assessments and treatment for a variety of clinical conditions. Our aim is to facilitate your recovery, to help improve your fitness goals and ensure you know how to prevent re-occurrence of your specific condition or symptoms and maintain activity and health for the future.

Sports Massage therapy AVAILABLE (Weekday and Saturday clinic options - contact us for appointments). We kindly ask you continue to wear a face mask or visor when attending appointments with Jackie Geatches.
Services
Our Physiotherapists are experienced and highly qualified. They all have a minimum of 10 years experience post graduation alongside registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We are all continually learning about the latest research evidence to ensure you get the best possible assessment and treatment for your problem.
We are excited to introduce Chartered Nutritionist Robyn Cardy to the team who will be offering a Nutrition Service here at Bury Physio starting on Thursday evenings. Currently she can complete her assessments via zoom or in the clinic. Robyn has a degree in Nutrition and Human Health and qualified from the University of Suffolk.
The assessment helps to understand your expectations of physiotherapy, your current movement abilities, pain symptoms and goals you wish to achieve. Appropriate treatment and a home exercise plan seeks to resolve your problem and prevent future occurrences. We will make sure you get the right treatment and we will give you the knowledge and support you require to manage your condition so you don't have to keep coming back for more treatment.
For individuals who have had a stroke or neurological condition that results in weakness or balance issues, our physiotherapists can assess and treat accordingly with a functional exercise-based programme. These video clips show Physiotherapist Gertrud Swanevelder guiding Julie through exercises post Stroke as part of long-term recovery.

I have been working with Hayely for just over a year now through physio sessions and pilates classes. I cannot recommend Hayley highly enough and feel extremely lucky to have someone with her knowledge and enthusiasm so close to me.

I have attended Pilates classes with Anna for a few years now which helps me tremendously as I sit at a desk all day. I would definitely recommend her classes which have been over Zoom during the pandemic.

I have been attending Pilates classes now for a few months having received physio at the clinic many years ago for a prolapsed disc. The classes are varied and well run by knowledgeable staff and I have found all of the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The premises are Covid secure too.
