Located in the heart of Croydon on Sydenham Road, Leapfrog Day Nursery is perfectly situated for local families and for parents commuting from East Croydon. Our aim it to provide as much flexibility as we can to busy parents while providing quality care for your little ones. Our baby rooms are bright, cheerful and stimulating, offering a caring environment with a focus on sensory experiences.
As children begin to explore, they will gain confidence and then be able to participate in a wide range of educational and fun activities, all of which will be planned in advance and will include colouring, painting, messy play, singing etc., to create a fun-filled day for your child.

Leapfrog is a family business run by Amina and her mum Aisha. Amina has two children who attend the nursery. Amina founded the nursery because she couldn't find a nursery that she liked which suited her needs so decided instead to start her own with the help of her mum. Aisha has over 30 years experience in local government, community development and charity work and helps run the nursery with her daughter Amina.
Our philosophy is to have simple, transparent and flexible pricing for parents to find the right package for them, thats why we've created two fee packages for you to choose from. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm. Early drop off session from 7:30am and late pick up at 6:30pm are available at an additional fee of 7.50 and are subject to availability.
At Leapfrog we aim to provide to best quality care and our nursery benefits from brand new facilities for the children to enjoy. We have 3 unique rooms to cater for all ages. Our baby room is a peaceful environment with a separate soft play and sensory room and a separate sleep room. Our toddler room is full of learning tools and creative play equipment with a focus on free play.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (aka the EYFS) which is a statutory framework, covering learning and development from the day your child is born until the end of their first year at school. Leapfrog Day Nursery provides all children with a firm foundation on which to build future academic, social and emotional success.

On the day of registration the nursery was severely understaffed. My son was distressed due to being left, not comforted.and not engaged. His mum was doing the registration forms. On leaving the nursery my child begged not to go back. The nursery have promised to refund the £100 rightly so as the nursery shouldn’t be paid for making my sons first nursery experience so traumatic but it has not been received. I am hoping to receive this payment soon or I will be forced to take this further.

I'm really pleased that I chose Leapfrog nursery. I viewed a few places in the area but something about this nursery felt right. The staff are lovely and I feel that the children are well looked after by them. They make sure they follow dietary preferences and they work very hard to stick to your childs routine so that children and parents are not distressed by disruptions to their schedule. My son seems very happy there.

My 18 month old daughter loves coming to this nursery. When I collect her after a whole day she doesn’t want to leave! The staff are amazing and the nursery is bright, colourful and so many activities for all the babies and children. LOVE the parent app too! Getting updates and photos of my baby while I’m at work is so lovely 💛 Thank you Leapfrog for restoring my faith in nurseries!

I love this nursery. Fantastic extension of home for my child; they are flexible, approachable, resourceful, clean and amazing in all they provide - I can tick all boxes!
Aisha, Amina, Amreen and the other staff, they trully care about my son and I always feel very safe to leave him there. It's been nearly 2 months since we joined and my 2-year old has transformed from a 'crying baby' into a an 'independent todler' with great manners!
I've seen many many many places, when I had to select nurseries for my two older children, but it was always a 'not much of a choice' choice...
LEAPFROGs are EXPERTS
