Making Tax Digital is an attempt made by the HMRC to do exactly what the name suggests. It is an initiative that will revolutionise the UK tax system and ultimately bring an end to self-assessment. By 2020, MTD will mean that businesses and individual taxpayers can access their own tax affairs online via digital tax records and have to file their tax information digitally on a quarterly basis.
We have been using Godfrey Laws for over 10 years and have been very pleased with their service. Zoe is a superstar. She visits each 1/4 to finalise our accounts and is incredibly efficient and easy to work with. I have to admit the accounts are sometimes out of my comfort zone but Howard is brilliant, although we do make his head hurt once or twice a year when we meet with him to discuss our financial options.
