I am currently offering sessions via Skype and Telephone for the foreseeable future which is proving to be a very positive experience for many. I work with both male and female clients on an individual basis and work with young people from the age of 15 years. I also work with couples as well as telephone/skype counselling.

I became interested in Counselling when experiencing my own difficulties and I sought help from a very wise Hypnotherapist. This experience made me think about helping others and I decided to look into Counselling and Hypnotherapy courses. I began training in 2008 where I completed a diploma in Counselling and Hypnotherapy skills.
I am trained in Person-Centred Counselling, which is an approach that I really believe in, from my own personal experience of it. It helped me to see things so much more clearly and each week that I went, even after the painful sessions, I was able to make more sense of things. After gaining this insight I was able to move forward with my life in a more confident and positive way.
The initial session is a chance to see if you think I am the right person to commit to working with on a weekly basis. This is so important when seeking a therapist and I offer this first session at a discounted rate of 20 (for individual sessions only) and then following this we can discuss future session times if you are happy to do so.
I decided to seek help from Alison as I was in a very troubled place with regards to anxiety in the work place, so bad was this anxiety that I got very close to losing my job that I worked so hard to get in the first place. Alison worked closely with my underlying issues encouraging me to express my feelings of the past that were linked to my current feelings and beliefs.
