I'm Ben Hooper and I took over Clifford Sales & Lettings in 2014. With 14 years already under my belt as an estate agent working for established high street names, I decided the time was right to go it alone. Clifford Sales and Lettings has been trading in Brighton and Hove since 1997.

We rent properties of all shapes and sizes right across Brighton & Hove to professionals, young families, students, retirees, tenants with pets, in fact there is no one type of tenant and there are all sorts of properties available.
It is really important for all the properties we manage to be kept to a high standard. By getting problems rectified quickly, damage to your property and inconvenience to your tenant is kept to a minimum. As soon as a tenant reports an issue, we visit the property, assess the situation and decide on the appropriate course of action.

I've been working with Ben at Clifford for a few years now and he's been excellent. I have a flat that I let out and he always manages to find the most reliable, trouble free tenants. He's very flexible in his attitude towards whether I maintain or he does but I know that I can rely upon him to help out when I need it. Couldn't recommend Clifford Sales and Lettings more highly.

The BEST Letting Agent! We were recommended Clifford Sales & Lettings by a friend who rented their house through Ben and his team, and had said they were brilliant. Not informing a buyer whose offer was accepted a week beforehand, whose paperwork was going through and paid for, that the vendors already exchanged contracts with a previous existing buyer. Courtesy of that information would have been nice so as not to waste our time and our money thinking we were buying a house when in fact we were not. Not to mention being shocked and gutted getting the information by way of an email from the sellers on the day they exchanged contracts with a pre existing buyer. When everything was meant to be done 'through the agents!'
