The John W Groombridge Motorcycles site at Cross in Hand has been a landmark on the A267 Eastbourne to Tunbridge Wells road since 1951 and has been an official Suzuki dealer since 1963.

Now use Groombridge Motorcycles as I bought my Royal Enfield Interceptor from here. Traded in my NC750XAD for what I thought was a good price. The whole part exchange and sale was trouble free. Good selection of new and used bikes, clothing and a RE showroom section too. The Service Department are particularly accommodating and helpful and nice to deal with. It would be good if the free tea, coffee, milk and cups were kept stocked up as both times I visited something had run out meaning I could not make a drink.

Like many people who have been motorcycling, my needs had changed. I had a Suzuki GSX-1250FA and a GSX-R1000. The Gixxer was getting too ballistic for me, and I am getting old. So I decided to sell the Gixxer and replace it with something easier.
I saw the 1050 Vstrom for sale and arranged to go and see it. The saleman knew his business and had confidence to not pressure me. He listened to my various comments and suggested I sat on a DL650 Vstrom.
I went away and thought about. I then returned, test rode the 650 and bought it.
2 months on and I am over the moon with the bike. The salesman guided

Bought a very well priced triumph during these difficult times, couple of phone calls and some detailed photos confirmed condition, so a deal was done.
Unfortunately had to return bike for some warranty work to be taken care of,
bike is now all sorted and I've manage to put 600 miles care free miles on it since.
Would definitely use again.
