Elmbridge Automatic

We set up Elmbridge Automatic in 1998 to deal exclusively with automatic driving tuition in the Surrey area. We owned and managed Hampton Court School of Motoring from 1992 until recently when we sold this part of our business in order to concentrate totally on automatic tuition.

In 1998, with more than six years experience of running a driving school which offered only manual lessons and an increasing number of enquiries for automatic, we were convinced that there was a potential market for us to try and attract.

This would usually involve weekly lessons (although more often if you would like this) of 1 hour, 1 hours or maybe 2 hours, providing structured tuition which follows the recommended DSA syllabus and leads to the Practical Driving Test. We can provide specialist tuition which is aimed at drivers from overseas who are currently living in the UK and need to take the UK Test.

The vast majority of our American clients take this course which is aimed specifically at experienced drivers who need to obtain the UK licence. This consists of 4 to 5 hours of tuition, plus a pre-Test practise lesson and our attendance at the Test Centre with you.

This will hopefully make the day of your Practical Test as stress-free as possible and is definitely recommended if you have been resident in the UK for more than 1 year, to counter any suspicion that you have driven to the Test Centre illegally.We always have stock of these items which are essential for the Practical Test, although if we attend the Test with you they can be borrowed free of charge.
