Lester and Brown jewellers are based in the regenerated village of Poynton in Cheshire. In our jewellery design studio and retail showroom, we have been producing bespoke jewellery designs, specialising in modern contemporary jewellery designs for many years. Although we take our work very seriously, we also like to treat our customers in a relaxed friendly manner, we don't do pushy!
Our real area of expertise is making jewellery. Our handmade jewellery usually starts with a simple sketch and then technology comes into play. Using C.A.D, (computer aided design) we will create a photo realistic image of the proposed idea for your approval.

Services
As Lester and Brown we are master jewellers with over 30 years experience designing making and repairing jewellery. All our repairs, jewellery services and bespoke designs are carried out in-house. We can fix, repair and restore almost any piece of jewellery, from a simple ring sizing in platinum, palladium or gold to the more intricate restoration of antique and old jewellery pieces.
Top quality service from start to finish, David and Ian really do know there craft and we have got something far more than we expected. Well done to you both and thanks for everything, I won't look at a jewellers the same after our experience at Lester and Brown. I must say I not usually minded to make the effort in writing reviews, I consider myself a cynic with high expectations - rarely a winning combo!

Having purchased a beautiful, loose purple sapphire from Hatton Garden I began the process of looking for the right jewellers to turn this into the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé.

Above and Beyond Service!! I recently had my engagement and wedding rings re-designed by David & Ian, they helped me through the initial design process and even generated CAD images to help me make my decision.
Not only were they super helpful and friendly, you could tell they were passionate about what they do. I am so delighted with the end result which was everything I had hoped it would be and more.

I can not recommend Lester and Brown enough. I took in a selection of old rings with sentimental value and David designed me the most beautiful ring. He incorporated the rings into the design and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome . Thank you so much David I love love love the ring I can’t thank you enough.

Ian has designed many items of jewellery for my wife over the years, the most recent being a diamond bracelet for a special birthday. As always, the service was fantastic and we were made to feel very special. Ian described at length all the options and the finished article is simply stunning! My beautiful bracelet arrived last weekend, a present from my husband for a special birthday, I LOVE it. I recently collected my ring from Lester & Brown and I am delighted with it. I had an eternity ring that sat unworn in my jewellery box and my friend persuaded me to take it to Lester & Brown. I am so glad I did!!
David spent time talking through options and then sent me photographs of CAD designs so I could look at the stones in different settings.

Lester & Brown were first recommended to me 6 years ago when I got engaged. The evaluated and re-sized an antique ring providing excellent service and value for money. I have been I again today with my engagement ring after finding one of the stone claws was broken. It was fixed for me on the spot for no charge. I am amazed and happy! A great Jewellers, would recommend to anyone! The service was better than Amazing! I felt looked after throughout and made to feel confident in making what was a very important purchase. The finished product (a beautiful engagement ring) exceeded expectation and definitely helped to secure the "YES" along with my charm of course! I will definitely be going back for our wedding rings soon. Compared to what I looked at in the high-street chain shops, I got a better, bespoke ring that was much better value.
