I am an RHS award winning garden designer and registered member of the Society of Garden Designers covering an area of 20 miles radius from my office in Monmouth including Monmouthshire, parts of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. Helping my clients to discover their own perfect garden and to see how much it can offer our native wildlife is my passion.

We each have our own tastes and lifestyles and by respecting the natural beauty of the garden, its existing wildlife habitats and the surrounding environment, each and every one of our gardens has the potential to be uniquely beautiful and provide a home to some of our rapidly declining native species.
Services
I like to offer a flexible service tailored to suit the individuality of my clients and their budgets. We almost always begin by meeting on site to talk about your priorities and the opportunities the garden holds. This may be a one off consultation or be the first meeting of many as we take the design and implementation of the garden forward to completion and beyond.
The inspiration to make changes to our own gardens can come from anywhere. From practical necessity as our homes and families change and grow, from other people's gardens, the natural landscape, the buildings around us or the patterns, colours and textures we find in the natural and man made world.
The natural processes of seasonal change, leaf fall and decay, spring and renewal are the constant beating heart of any garden and its inhabitants which depend on these processes. From the microscopic soil organisms we don't see, to the insects, birds, mammals and amphibians we do, they all form essential parts of its web of life, but will only thrive if the conditions are right.
In accordance with GDPR regulations please be assured that any personal information you choose to give me will only be used as necessary to enable me to carry out the work you commission me to do. It will be kept securely and not given to any third party unless you ask me to pass it on for the purposes of our business together, e.g. to a landscaper or supplier.

Cheryl worked with me on my garden remotely, during pandemia virus. I'm very happy with the results although I'm still waiting to source some plants and also for the ones I have already planted to grow. Garden already looks amazing. I'm sure year by year will be even better. For some reason google did not upload better pictures.

Cheryl came highly recommended by a friend to help design part of our mature garden after a barn had been built to replace an old shed and some very old and diseased shrubs and trees had been removed. As a keen gardener I thought I knew what I wanted and was a bit surprised when Cheryl started by looking at our address on Google Earth but this demonstrates how she starts with the overall shape of the garden and an understanding of the surrounding landscape. Cheryl visited the garden twice. On the first we talked about how we use the garden, what we like, don’t like and how we want to maintain
