Services
Using natural and reclaimed materials we are able to create beautiful gardens that compliment the natural surroundings. See examples of our work including stone walling, brick, stone or slate patios and paving, timber projects, clay lined lakes, small ponds and garden water features. From a whole garden make over to a small feature, we take great pride in producing high quality work that looks great and will stand the test of time.
During the last twelve years we have been able to find reliable suppliers of the most beautiful materials available. You can see examples here of reclaimed brick and stone, new Herefordshire flagstones and Welsh slate. These materials have a particular quality that enable the hard landscaped features to blend in with rather than dominate a garden.
The use of timber, stone or reclaimed brick for walls and edging will depend on client preference and situation. This gallery shows examples of how we have used different materials on a range of landscaping projects. Whether you have a modern house, Victorian terrace or country cottage we work closely with clients to create something that can become a focal point or back drop in any garden.
The larger of the ponds at Bolletry Castle, this pond was created by lining an existing dingle. These photos show examples of large ponds we have created using bentonite clay liners. Bentonite clay offers a more ecologically sensitive option for lining large ponds, the liner comes on rolls consisting of a layer of clay granules sandwiched between two layers of geo textile membrane.
The board walk leads along the side of a large pond creating safe access to the area beyond. A board walk or jetty can provide a wonderful sense of adventure to a garden. This gallery shows example of board walks over water or used as a guide through wild areas. All are built from locally sourced timber, usually using Chestnut posts for durability with either a Cedar or Oak deck.
