Services
I am extremely proud to lead a high quality team of staff and governors, who are committed to achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all the children in our care, aged from 2-10 years old. Like the other First schools in the Shelley pyramid, our classes go from Reception to Year 5, after which children transfer to a local Middle school.
We miss you all and look forward to welcoming you back. If you would like to add your love heart to the growing collections outside school please do! We will always look for suitable and appropriate opportunities to stretch and challenge our learners. Learners strive to achieve their personal targets in all subjects and recognise their next steps. Individual subject progression documents, which highlight how knowledge, skills and vocabulary build as children move through school.
Our School Council play a vital role within school. Two children from each class starting from Year 1 to Year 5 are selected by their peers at the beginning of each academic year. The children present their manifestos to their class, stating why they would be a good member of school council. During their roles, they undertake a lot of important tasks and host many events across the year.
Please send your child to school in their PE kits on these days. Please send their uniform in their bag to change back into after their PE lesson if needed. Due to PE kits being kept at home for now, either send trainers with your child every day or they can just run in their shoes. Miss Dyson will test the spellings each week on a Thursday.
