Little Lambs Day Nursery is a private day nursery set in the seaside town of Kinmel Bay, North Wales. We aim to provide children with a safe, happy environment in which they can grow and develop individually. We aim to encourage social interaction, confidence, emotional well being as well as physical control and intellectual progression.
We are registered for 48 children between the ages of 10 weeks and 10 years. We work on a rolling rota whereby all the children move round the various rooms of the building so they aren't in the same one all day. This was developed because when we are at home we don't stay in the same room all day, and this gives the children a chance to have a variety of experiences in the nursery.

Services
Claire works within our baby room and is level 3 qualified; Claire has over 10 years experience working with children and also has three children of her own. Maile also works within our Baby Room and is Level 2 qualified and currently working towards her Level 3 qualification. Maile has been with us at Little Lambs for over 6 years and has lots of experience with children of all different ages, Maile has 2 children of her own.
Our tots group is for our children aged 1 years - 2 years old. The staff ratio is 1 staff to 3 children in compliance with CIW. Ruth is our Tots Team Leader and is level 3 qualified with over 10 years experience, Alana also works within our Tots room and is Level 3 qualified. Alana has moved to Little Lambs from another nursery in Rhyl where she gained lots of experience working with the younger children.
Charlotte is our Toddler room leader. Charlotte is Level 3 qualified and has been with us for over 6 years. Charlotte currently works along side Chelsea who is Level 2 qualified and currently training in Level 3. Sophie J (Level 3) also works within our Toddler room. While in toddlers children are learning to play with each other and to share their toys.
The Schoolies room is for children who attend school in the morning or afternoon. The Schoolies room is based in the after-school room between 9am-3pm, at 3pm Schoolies rejoin with Pre-School. Schoolies also follow the foundation phase curriculum whilst at nursery.
The Schoolies room offers children a chance to play in an open planned area, giving children more independance in which activities they take part in and giving children the opportuniy to play in an environment with other children the same age.We also deliver and collect children to all schoolies between the Rhyl, Bodelwyddan and Abergele area.

This group is for children aged 4 years to 14 years, the ratio of staff to children is 1 staff to 8 children. Hayley is our After-School Room leader, and is NVQ Level 3 qualified and is currently training in playworker Level 3. Hayley has previously had alot of experience within in different settings with childrn of all ages.
