Our freshly cooked Gourmet pizzas, a variety of bar meals including our now famous burgers, and our sumptious pies. Because we mainly cook to order from quality, fresh ingredients, most dishes can be modified to your tastes.

Firstly, I like the atmosphere of the pub, staff have been friendly. This is a review about the breakfast. What was nice? I thought the sausage were nice, decent quality. The scrambled eggs were quite dry, the bacon was streaky bacon or American bacon, not bad but not my favourite.
The main let down was the mushrooms, just horrible, they were very spongy, or deep fried but not nice. I will be honest and say I wouldn’t have a breakfast again.

Despite all that's going on at the moment a slight silver lining is that we now get to discover amazing places on our home turf. The Moon is just one of those places for me.
After a long day hiking through the downs the staff were friendly and charming and the food was fabulous. Seriously who ever the chef is in this place...never let them go. Everything was cooked perfectly, great quality ingredients and great portions.
Rest assured with the more local holidays we've all been taking I am most certainly returning to New Moon when I'm back in Storrington again to try more of that menu!

We decided to visit The Moon today as we were visiting Storrington and saw it had some good reviews, albeit from several years ago. We entered to a sign that said "Can't accept cards, cash only." Well that's inconvenient! We thankfully had cash so decided to proceed.
Having walked in and had a look around, the smell and the upkeep of the bar/restaurant was horrible! The garden out of the back of the pub looked nice, but honestly we couldn't get past the horrible urine smell, the gross menu (it was filthy, not the food), but the food choice was awful too. To add insult

With some comparable competition on the High Street, the Moon needn't be too concerned. Terrific gardens at the rear, open spacious restaurant and a good selection of ales sees it in a position of some strength. Plenty of parking within short distances.

This is a really lively pub that attracts a good mix of young and old people which adds to a good atmosphere. There's also some really comfortable leather sofas to sink into and relax.
The food is fantastic and leans heavily towards the Italian side if things. It does it really well though, the pizzas are great and not too expensive at all. You have to try the Crispy bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms & tomato one, really good choice for lunch.
They have a nice big heated patio outside for us smokers which is always nice to see.
