Person-Centred counselling can help you to make sense of your life. It can help you to discover what does not work and support you to make changes that help your life to work better. Sharing your worries and concerns with your counsellor you can begin to understand yourself better. As you develop inner self-confidence you may feel more confident in your ability to share and connect with the people in your life.

With genuine support from your counsellor you will have the confidence to make changes that will benefit the life you wish to lead. Person-Centred counselling focuses on you as person and your unique view of life rather than offering you pre-canned solutions which may not be right for you. On Monday morning and evening and Thursday evening at the Fairground Craft and Design Centre, Weyhill.

My training has been in the Person-Centred Approach which aims to help you to explore and find answers within yourself. As we explore your issues together, I will take an active part by attentively listening. This process can result in you beginning to build your own sense of personal power and a level of self acceptance and self regard.
Person-Centred counselling focuses on you as a person and your unique point of view on life, rather than offering you pre-canned solutions to your problems. I tailor the approach to your specific needs and place you at the centre of counselling. In the therapy room I take an active part by attentively listening as we explore the challenges that you are facing and the changes that you wish to make.
I came to see Sue after appreciating that my behaviour towards my partner was causing her distress. Over the course of six sessions, through her frank yet non-judgemental approach she helped me to understand some of the factors that lead to low self-esteem and all the negative thoughts and feelings which upon reflection have been a part of my life for many years.
Helping you to understand situations that cause anxiety so that you might handle them better. Person-centred counselling can help you to explore the situations that bring about your feelings of anxiety like panic, overwhelm, worry or concern.

By exploring these anxiety driven situations you can begin to understand why these feelings arise and I can support you as we uncover new ways for you to feel more composed and relaxed in anxiety driven moments.It can be difficult to juggle all the demands that are placed on you within your work environment.
If you have two or more of the above symptoms for a week or more then it's best to get some help. Counselling can give you the space to investigate these feelings and behaviours. I can help you to understand what might be causing your depression and together we can look at ways that you can overcome what is going on so that you can live a more positive and fulfilling life.
