The first stage in buying a printer is to identify what you are going to print. If you are printing address labels or labels for perishable goods that are only going to be used for a short space of time then a Direct thermal printer would be ideal. This is because Direct thermal technology uses heat sensitive paper by transferring heat through the print head of a direct thermal printer burning the image, text or barcodes directly onto the label.

We know from our own personal experience that buying a thermal bar code printer from a 'box shifter' printer warehouse can be a nightmare.
Godex printers are made to last. These desktop printers are heavier, have more powerful motors, and have more metal components in them than the others for one reason; reliability. Being produced for over 20 years these robust printers are highly recommended. Many companies prefer to print their own labels using a desk top printer.

An excellent and efficient service. Gilly Print are really friendly and helpful and the label printer I'm now leasing was set-up and installed with appropriate labels and training given. The printer is compact, the software really easy to use and it prints labels accurately and quickly.
