We cannot praise this company enough, they have all been absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. They are caring, professional and nothing is to much trouble for them. They listened to our requests and advised us on all areas of the funeral. We were able to leave everything up to them and on the day they produced a truly amazing send off to a very special person.

Simon Helliar-Moore began his career in the Funeral Profession in 1994 and now has over 26 years of experience within the profession, covering a varied career practising in Somerset, London and Bath. Simon's journey into the world of funerals began in 1994, when he took a work experience placement with a Taunton company.

This video, based on our Google 360 Tour, allows you to sit back and look around our Funeral Home before you arrive. We have created a calm oasis to provide a quiet, relaxing and informal setting for you to discuss your requirements for a meaningful and personalised Funeral Service. A light and welcoming atmosphere awaits you, providing a space that delivers privacy and solace, when you need it the most.
We were delighted to see so many of you attend, with a congregation of over 200. We shared Carols and words, both sacred and secular, which made this an occasion for all. The service was supported by local Clergy and Celebrants, whilst raising money for local charity, Love Musgrove. The entire service was recorded by Tone FM and can you find it on their website or please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to provide a copy on CD.
We will be dedicating a Tree of lights to all those we have cared for, with each light being dedicated in their name. We will share Carols and words, both sacred and secular, making this an occasion for all. After the service, you are invited to stay for refreshments and add a personal dedication to the Tree.

Me and my partner used the crescent funeral services and I can't rate them high enough all the way though they were all there for us. They were just a phone call away and what was so helpful though out it all. Simon and James where all helpful and very knowledgeable. They all went the extra mile to accommodate us with anything we wanted.

This is the second time I have used the services of Robert and Simon and the help and support they have given me whilst coping with the loss of both my parents has been invaluable. They are outstanding funeral directors and moreover outstanding human beings with such respectfulness, empathy and good humour to guide you through an incredibly difficult time. I would just like to say heartful thanks for the love and care you all showed during the difficult time of losing my dad. You made everything very simple and as easy as it could be. From the moment they came to pick up mum the care and dedication and respect shown was obvious. Nothing was too much trouble; Simon answered all questions in detail and clearly. The planning was impeccable, and we couldn’t have been happier with Simon and the team. I would not hesitate to recommend Crescent Funeral Services to anyone in need of support at such a sad time. Simon, Robert and James are all just lovely. Sympathetic, helpful, respectful and understanding - I could go on. They are also still an independent entity which, for me, was an important aspect in choosing a local service.

Crescent Funeral Directors were amazing and made my fathers funeral very personal. They helped his grandchildren and my children aged 15 and 5 be apart of the whole thing. My son who is 5 walked with Simon and led my father in as well as allowing us to have a high fire service presence with an engine and plenty of fire fighters too. Thank you very much Crescent Funeral Directors for helping my dad have the most fitting service he as a hero deserved. I would highly recommend Crescent Funeral Directors.

I wanted to find out more about the costs of a funeral and what could be sorted to make sure plans are in place for the future.
I called a couple of funeral directors in the area and found the guys here to be so helpful and friendly. I was prepared to be give some kind of sales speech, but I felt they were caring and genuinely interested only in giving me the information that I needed to make the process easier for my family.
The honesty, friendliness and understanding of my requirements were second to none and they provided me with plenty of information and options for me and my family to take
