As a leading member's club in North London and Hertfordshire, South Herts is blessed with two superb courses: the 18-hole Vardon Course @ 6435 yards and the 9-hole Par 3 Rees Course @ 1489 yards. Extending across 150 acres of rural parkland South Herts is just over 10 miles from Central London, has easy access to the A1 and M25, and is within walking distance of Totteridge and Whetstone Underground station.
Founded in 1899 the Club is steeped in golfing history. Two of Britain's greatest golfers have been the Club Professional. Record 'Open' winner Harry Vardon was professional from 1902 to his death in 1937 and Ryder Cup legend, Dai Rees was with the Club from 1946 until his death in 1983.

Services
The Juniors section at South Herts, known as the Dragons, is an exciting and important part of the South Herts infrastructure. Working with the Golf Foundation, our PGA qualified coaches are looking to build a strong nucleus of junior players who, we hope, will become our next generation of golfers.

Superb 120 year old golf course in great condition. Slightly hilly but mostly interesting holes. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. Was the home course of Harry Vardon who is credited with inventing the grip now used by many golfers. Some memorabilia about him in the clubhouse. Definitely worth a visit!
