Old Fold Manor Golf Club
Come and join us. We're delighted to welcome visitors - and you'll love the challenge and the joy of playing here. You'll get a gracious welcome from our Professional team - whether you seek expert help with your game or only a packet of tees. It was designed by one of the greatest golf course architects of all time - Harry Colt.

His design philosophy helped to shape Augusta National, too, so it's not surprising that Old Fold is famous for its greens. Colt was also famous for bringing a seaside links feel to inland courses so, you'll find a few extra challenges here. These are some of the reasons why Old Fold held Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2005-2010.
Services
You will always receive a warm welcome at Old Fold - whether you are coming to play golf, hold a celebration or have a business meeting. The club was founded in 1910. Since then it has entertained business leaders, celebrities, legendary golfers, and even royalty. Today, it continues to challenge - and charm - players of all standards.
Glen has been a PGA Professional since 2012 after a successful amateur career. Glen has since gone on to be one of the leading PGA Professionals in the UK and competed in the 2016 Northern Ireland Open. 2018 has proven to be Glen's best season to date with over 7 Professional wins already this summer.
Originally open heathland; it now has many tree-lined fairways that make the wind direction even less predictable. It also retains the undulations and unpredictability of bounce so typical of Harry Colt designs, which bring the charm and challenge of seaside links to his inland courses. The best feature of all, maybe, are our greens; among the quickest and trickiest in the county.
Hit straight off the tee and you will be rewarded by a lush fairway which slightly bears to the right. Two fairway bunkers protect the left side of the fairway. The green is guarded by a bunker and out of bounds on the left. An undulating green that slopes from front to back and gives a fair indication of the putting tests to follow.
Visitors can always be sure of a warm welcome at Old Fold Manor Golf Club. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit to Old Fold Manor Golf Club and find time to visit us soon. Members guests and visitors may play Monday to Friday at any time excluding GAT times on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday will remain clear for members use only, unless by exception there is clear space available the day before.

Don't understand the positive reviews. Many fairways waterlogged and pretty much unplayable. Other fairways uncut presumably because they are too wet. Two holes partially closed and the members skip them. And it has been a pretty dry autumn so far. Greens ok and friendly members hence two stars. I wouldn't play.

An interesting & fair layout that needs some thought. Fairways are undulating crossed with shallow ditches. Greens are challenging, true and whilst a little slow, will be good as weather improves. Has halfway house on 11th.

Greens were immaculate, very fast and true, easy to putt 8 foot past the hole. Some fairways were bald in places but didn't spend too much time on them to be honest. Clubhouse and outside area were clean and finished the day off perfectly with a beer in the sun, Peroni needed checking though, wasn't right. 5☆ if the beer is better next time.

I wouldn't pay the guest green fee of £45 to play on a ploughed field. The fairways have been slit but so has my garden and it's in much better condition. Greens were challenging so made up for the fairways.

Beautiful, very polite golfers. I lost my sense of direction and some kind golfers directed me politely to the path I required.

The greens were very good but fairway is a bit rough. I would give it 3.5 stars. Ok course.
