As a driving learner, you'll have a good idea of when you're ready to take your practical driving test, through your gradual progress with East London's Finest Driving School. When it comes to taking your driving test, you'll need to hire the car which you've been conducting your driving lessons with.
Manual driving lessons are by default the most requested form of driving lessons at our driving school. Collectively between all of our driving instructors in East London, we've had well over 500 students passing their manual driving tests. A great chunk of whom have also passed first time! Manual driving is no more difficult than automatic driving, both equally pose challenges and it simply comes down to personal preference of transmission.
At our East London driving school, we tackle driving challenges with our learners. We do this to ensure each and every learner is in the best position possible for their automatic driving test. It is a common misconception that driving an automatic car is easier than a manual. While it's true in respect of there being less gear control, statistics show otherwise with the pass rate being lower than that of manual tests.
Our Intensive driving course is the solution to getting through your driving test quickly. A normal course of lessons can take a very long time to complete, and life hurdles may affect not just your learning, but the pace of the lessons too. It's not unusual for a pupil who takes one lesson per week to cease their driving lessons for a period of time, which will greatly extend the time it takes to learn to drive.
Pass Plus is a course that certifies you as a safe & new qualified driver. It is designed to not only enhances your skills but to guarantee discounts on your insurance which is usually high for new drivers. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within the first 2 years of passing their driving test than at any another time.

My driving instructor was Hussain, and today I have passed my driving test at Goodmayes test centre.
From the very start, Hussain was very professional. I previously already have a number of years of driving experience in another country, but Hussain took the time and effort to understand my strengths and weaknesses and crafted lessons that were tailored and directly relevant for me.
Hussain also genuinely cares for his students, he wants to make sure that a student truly understands how to drive, rather than just learning for the sake of passing the test. This really gave me a lot of confidence

Having driven for more than 20 years in India, I needed to find an instructor who would help me unlearn and learn the UK way of driving. Mabz was an absolutely patient instructor but at the same time extremely pragmatic and giving tips to pass the UK driving test. After 15 hours of driving and learning the rules here, I managed to pass the test with ease. I highly recommend East London's Finest Driving school not just for first time learners but also for experienced drivers to navigate the system here. Punctual and perfect communication skills also makes them stand out!

My son and I have taken lessons with East London’s finest Driving School and passed. I have taken lessons with many different school and I have to say I found East London’s finest Driving School to be very good! A very honest driving school. Both of us passed our driving test two weeks ago and I will recommend the driving school to anyone in East London.

PASSED!!! Thanks so much to Josh who calmly took me through everything I needed to pass FIRST TIME in Chingford. He answered all my silly questions with understanding and patience, and was great to chat to in Hackney’s traffic jams. We went on all kinds of roads at different times of day/night which helped me feel prepared for driving down to Kent on my first drive after passing. Thanks again! 🍾 🚙 🔑

Over the past few months, I've been taking automatic lessons once a week to prepare for my test. Today I passed for the first time with only 1 minor fault and I cannot thank Josh enough for all his help!
He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, which made the whole process enjoyable and informative. Each lesson I felt I was given proper feedback, areas to improve and ways I can better my driving. I can't thank Hussein enough. He's been very patient with me, and his explanations are fantastic. He was able to give me a comprehensive understanding of not only how to drive smart, but also how the car works. Not only have I passed my test, but I've also learnt how to be a GOOD driver and I feel very COMFORTABLE on the road which I think is the most important skill on the road, especially knowing how unpredictable the road is and how quickly you need to adapt to situations where you may be pressured. If you choose to drive with ELF driving school, pick Hussein! You won't regret it!

I did automatic driving with Josh and did about 60-70 hours over the course of the year due to COVID. But despite that I was able to pass my theory and driving practical first time.
Josh has a laid back style to teaching his lessons, which I personally like. I’ve had driving instructor in the past who threw too information at me in the sessions, that it was hard to absorb the info. But Josh is very simple and direct with giving information which made it easy for me to take in.
Thank you again Josh and good luck to everyone trying to get their driver’s license.

I passed my driving test all thanks to Muhammad. He is genuinely an amazing instructor when it comes to the little imperfections that he can spot out. He’s also very supportive about the actions you choose to take and is very motivating even up to the last minute of the time of my test. I would highly recommend taking him on board if your looking to learn to drive. Big THANK YOU once again!!

He is an amazing driving instructor, never puts you under pressure and guides you throughout the lessons. He always made time for me even though he had a super busy schedule. I would definitely recommend him - super friendly and funny ! All thanks to him. You can really pass if you take in what he teaches you.
