Services
The Lyndhurst Dental Practice is dedicated to providing a superb level of patient care. We want to make your visit to the practice as pleasant as we can. We know that a visit to the dentist is not most people's idea of a fun way to spend an hour, but we want to try and change that. We want our patients to walk in and out of our practice with a smile on their faces.
Sarah French qualified from Bristol University in 1999 with the gold medal for the best graduating student. She then spent several years working at The Lyndhurst Dental Practice. Since then, Sarah has enjoyed working in NHS and private dental practices in Hampshire and Berkshire. She has always enjoyed providing good quality general dentistry in a relaxed environment, and particularly enjoys transforming anxious patients into happy customers.
Ian is our hygienist. He worked at the practice for many years, until a brief break but has recently returned to the team. He qualified in the Armed Forces in 1994. He is married and lives near Salisbury with his wife and their dog "Poppy". He is currently learning to fly so may be seen over Popham Air Field!
We understand how distressing toothache can be and will do our best to see any of our registered patients as soon as possible. However, we ask that you telephone the practice between 9am and 12 noon if you need a same day appointment. If you call between normal working hours and the answer machine picks up, it may be that we are busy with another patient.
The Lyndhurst Dental Practice is situated in a converted house near the centre of Lyndhurst. It has a level car park situated next to the practice and a ramp to allow access for our wheelchair bound patients. We have recently had several members of the disabled community into the practice to assess how easily the practice can be accessed and to give us advise on things we can do to improve things for our patients.

Sarah is simply the best dentist that I've had. I've been a patient of hers for many years now and being a small practice the personal service is second to none. Ian has been my hygienist for 15 years plus, his friendly and personal approach is fantastic. All in all this is the most professional dentist in the area.

Sarah and her wonderful team look after myself and my family and have done for years. We are delighted with the service, the friendly welcome and the quality of the work carried out. We travel some distance to use this practice and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have (as many do) a "fear" of dentistry. I recently moved to the area and asked my new neighbours where they went and they instantly recommended Lyndhurst Dental practice. I have now been a few times once a check up and (unfortunately) for a filling. It is a great friendly place and Sarah was amazing.
She explained all the way through and made sure I was comfortable.
To my amazement didn't even use numbing gel before the injection and I didn't even feel it!!
I wish I could give more stars.
