Set in 225 acres of a picturesque landscape, steeped in history and through which the beautiful River Avon flows, Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club blends naturally into the peaceful countryside close to Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa and Coventry. Measuring 6056 yards in length, this stunning parkland course presents an exciting and enjoyable challenge along rolling fairways, where many ancient oak and sweet chestnut trees thrive, and on to immaculate greens that provide the finest of putting surfaces.
Services
The course measures 6056 yards in length with a par of 71 and offers a varied landscape to challenge the best golfers with its many ancient oak and sweet chestnut trees, some reputed to be 300 years old. The greens provide the finest possible putting surface, helped by an automatic irrigation system.
At 166 yards, to a green cupped by low banks and backed by a large oak, this is a great starting hole. You may be tempted to hit a high and handsome first shot, but beware, this hole is susceptible to cross-winds and can play longer than you might think. Anything off course will leave you in rough with a tricky chip to follow.
We are required under CONGU regulations to carry out an Annual Review to identify players whose general playing performance and scoring pattern over the year is better or inferior than expected and should have a handicap reduction or increase. The computer produces sheets entitled "Players to be considered for a reduction/increase in handicap" and a sheet showing players who have "Consistently played within Competition Standard Scratch".

For the last 4/5 years I have visited this establishment at Christmas time for the purpose of an annual meal with a pensioners group. We have always received a warm welcome and the food has been of excellent quality hence the reason for revisiting each year. A family run establishment who give a quality service. I would definitely recommend it.

I have been playing the 18 hole course a lot lately and have been really enjoying the challenge of the parkland course, mature trees and sloping greens. However my last outing was somewhat spoilt by large numbers of 'members' being allowed to tee off on the tenth hole late in the day just playing the back nine. Whilst most of them were cooperative in allowing those playing the full 18 holes to play through, some were reluctant and in inevitably played play down and spoilt my round.
