A bit disappointed as we thought we were staying at the main building, but it was the one next door, we didn't think it was clear enough on the website. The lighting in the room was poor and difficult to use the mirror when getting ready to go to a wedding. The bed was strange with two single beds made into a king size bed. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Visited many times over the last 15 years at various times of year and always a lovely experience in tasteful surroundings, a fantastic restaurant with top chefs, great Spa and Swimming Pool area and beautiful, relaxing areas to unwind. The rooms are immaculate and the Turret rooms especially, with fantastic Sea Views. Visited for the 3 night New Year break this year, food, singer and fireworks amazing. Great effort and very hard work from a Fabulous team, Brian is a credit to the hotel, as are Caroline, Jane, Derek and young Oliver plus many many more, the key to their success in my eyes is that

The hotel looked very festive with a lot of effort put into subtle Christmas decorations. On our arrival the welcoming receptionist gave us all the information that we required for our stay. Our room was large and very clean.
The New Year’s celebrations were of the highest quality and the menu was excellent superbly presented by all.
The whole staff should be congratulated on their excellent service - well done!

Stayed here many times over the last 10 years, service, food, leisure facilities and rooms consistently to a high standard, key members of staff e.g Brian and Derek are long-standing, 2 very professional gentleman. Also key is that family members also manage the daily running of the hotel which reflects on the high standards, Visited their Grand Hotel in Grasmere too, also very nice, would recommend.

We stayed not long after re-opening. The few members of staff were generally unhelpful and not too friendly. The annexe was not 'almost next door' but the rooms were good.We had to provide our own cereals and I could write a book about the fiasco over getting fried bread at breakfast time. We were in Lytham as executors for my cousin, so a sad time, not helped by the hotel's attitude.

First time staying at this odd and penny pinching hotel. In spite of paying well over £300 per night for one of their top rooms, on arrival we were told that the restaurant, bar, and all leisure facilities were out of bound to us as they had a group of more important guests, no offer of a refund for lack of amenities was made. A bit like Faulty Towers when Basil fawned over Lord Melbury to the exclusion of his other guests !! This hotel is not contactable by phone when booking, and that continues once in the room, as there are no phones to contact reception once you discover issues with the room
