Services
All staff have been trained in First Aid and are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (DBS) as part of our recruitment process. Our Nursery is regulated by the requirements of the National Standards for Daycare, entitled Every Child Matters which state there must be a minimum ratio of adults carers to each group of children.
Our Nursery is committed to providing a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play, learn and develop freely. We help our children to develop responsibility for themselves and their actions and to become competent, confident, independent and co-operative individuals. We encourage children to have a positive attitude and respect for both themselves and other people.
Before you book a place for your child we ask that you read our Nursery Prospectus, which is available to download from this site or will be posted first class to you on request by calling 01843 851264. We are always keen to get feedback from our parents, both good news stories as well as any concerns you may have.
At Mother Goose Nursery we believe the 'Welfare of the Child is Paramount' therefore our team work tirelessly to ensure that you and your child recieve the best possible care. We believe that each child is an individual and must be treated as such. We believe in fair treatment of everyone and practice Equal Opportunities at every level.
All parents of three and four year-olds are entitled to government money for their child's nursery education. This is known as the Fee Early Education (FEE). A child is entitled to start receiving the FEE from the start of the funding period after their 3rd birthday. So long as your child is enrolled with us at the beginning of the funding period after they turn three you will be able to make your application.
