Set in a wonderful woodland park of Margate, we truly believe that early years education should be about the whole child, the head, the hand and the heart. Our qualified, professional staff, ranges from 18 year-old apprentices, to the more 'mature' experienced staff, offering a range of age and diversity.

Services
Since opening in 2008, the Manor House Nursery Group has been owned and run by Sean & Jayne Sheerin. There are four parts to the organisation; the Manor House Nursery, the Manor House Forest School, the Kindergarten Woodland Nursery and Manor House Training and Development.

We work closely with you as your child's first and most important educator, to learn as much as we can about your child before they start. We welcome you to stay with your little one until you are happy to leave for short periods. These settling in sessions are free of charge, and are an important time where your child begins to form bonds with our staff, and feel secure when you leave.
There's unlimited water and milk all day long which is easy for the children to get to. This makes sure they stay well hydrated, especially when they've been busy. During years 0-5, young children experience huge growth spurts. This needs to be supported by opportunities for rest and sleep. Research shows that when children take daytime naps, their brains are more active than when they're awake.
There's nothing better for babies and toddlers than being part of the Manor House family!. Our bright and airy rooms are totally dedicated to support babies' growth and development. Each cosy room has carefully chosen furniture and its own outdoor space, which babies and toddlers can explore all year-round.
Our safe, secure and dedicated outdoor woodland area, set amongst the trees, has a magical wooden building lovingly named 'The Hobbit House'. This gives children the choice to be indoors with more 'traditional' nursery resources including puzzles, stories and blocks. Heating for the winter has been installed as well as blankets and cushions for afternoon naps and a washroom with toilets.
