De Lacy Arms
The De Lacy Arms is the original pub in Whalley. Our Manor Room was originally used as a stable for customers to keep their horses whilst they had a drink! We carry on our traditionally history with our original features, including exposed wood and a coal fire for Winter! We've brought parts of the pub into the 21st Century, with Sky Sports HD available on 5 big screen TVs, including one in the recently updated Beer Garden.

With up to 4 real ales on at any one time, locally sourced wine from the award winning Whalley Wine Shop and a wide selection of draught beers, bitters, bottled beers and ciders and a wide range of liquors and spirits, we aim to give everybody their favourite drink! We also serve bar snacks, including locally sourced Fiddler's Lancashire Crisps and the award winning Roy Porter's pies, straight from his butchers in Chatburn.
Services
At the De Lacy Arms, we aim to sell local high quality drinks aswell as big selling favourites. We source all of our wines from the award winning Whalley Wine Shop, and boast a broad selection of White, Red and Rose wine. Our Real Ales are prodominatly bought from local breweries and microbreweries, we always aim to have up to four real ales on at any time.

Absolutely awful service. Went in for a few drinks with friends & we were β€˜served’ by the most sour faced woman with short, dark hair. Her attitude stunk! I have never been treated with such unwarranted hostility. We left after one round, i would rather be giving my money to somebody more respectful and deserving.

An average boozer on the main high street in Whalley, I popped in for a quick pint (they had Shepherd Neame Spitfire and a local ale called Ribbler on offer) but wasn't overly impressed.

Thought I would at least post its name on the site as it did not come up through the normal searches, and it at least sells real-ale. The pub has a striking historical picture of somebody on horseback, which might explain the derivation of the pub's name.
