Moving in to a property managed by them in 3 weeks. Sam and Joanne made the whole process of viewing, apartment application and contract so much simpler for myself.

First spoke to someone called Guy who booked me in for a couple of viewings very quickly for the next day. Whilst he was on holiday another member of staff called Ant helped me with all my queries and kept me up to date with everything going on with the property we were choosing to rent and what I needed to submit. Finally a member of staff called Joanne helped with finalising the tenancy and again was very responsive and helpful. We had a very short time from deciding on the property up to our move in date and she helped through those last very stressful moments and they all were always very polite

We've been with Parks continuously as landlords since 1995, and the sheer length of time should speak for itself about the quality service we've received. It's tricky to keep both landlords and tenants happy while ensuring that everything is legal, and Parks do this with great skill and experience. We've been well looked after by many different agents over the years, and are very happy with the current staff, especially Shane, whose efficiency, attention to detail, and professional manner do Parks proud.

My time searching for flats has been incredibly stressful but Amy at Parks has been super responsive, friendly and helpful. It rarely feels like estate agents care much about individuals' situations but we couldn't have had more support from Amy throughout the letting process. If everyone at Parks is this lovely, we will have no problems letting with them for the year.

Our experience with Parks has been superb. We were shown around our new flat by Paul, who was excellent-genuine, knowledgeable and helpful. Paul has since attentively guided us throughout referencing and the move itself. I really can’t fault the service he’s given to us. Additionally, Joanne who facilitated the referencing for us has also been brilliant-friendly, helpful and really responsive. The processes are automated and modern, which makes life so much easier too!

Sharks'n'Cretins would be a more appropriate name for this agency who are willing to continue to collude with some of Brighton's worst landlords on the premise that they "only deal with the financial side not the maintenance" thus denying all responsibility.
IMO any reputable agency would not deal with such landlords, especially when they've had multiple complaints about unhealthy mice infestations, boilers which aren't replaced for months after failing gas safety checks, mould growing in common areas, dodgy flickering electrics and general maintenance jobs

Parks Lettings are the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with, and I have been renting property for a considerable number of years. I do not rent cheap properties. I was assured by the agent who showed me around that the property was unfurnished, and the online listing did not say the property was furnished. Upon moving in I found that there was an old sofa, a wardrobe and a random assortment of tables left in the property which parks refused to do anything about, despite their agent clearly lying to me. Parks Letting were initially frosty until the money came out. Then they were ingratiating until it was time to move out of my flat. Then they gave me hell for four months.
From what I've heard from friends this is pretty much the treatment anyone can expect from these people. It's difficult to feel any kind of love for a letting agent, perhaps if personified into a friendly landlord but not a letting agent. Any opportunity to weasel a little bit more money out of you and they're on it! I have always just had unfortunate luck with letting agencies like Parks always letting me down. I was left freezing in my house over Christmas when my boiler exploded and for three months this issue went unresolved whilst I shuffled around my house like a neglected pensioner without any heating. Then they have the down right cheek to sneak expenses for this out of our deposits

Although I have never actually let a house through Parks, many years of renting in Brighton has led me to have had many a house viewing with them. Strangely, the same guy has shown me around every single house. You may have come across him yourself. He is short with a beard and I have always found him to be friendly, if a little pushy. He was always punctual to our meetings and seemed well informed about the properties, but he ALWAYS with out fail put pressure on us to take the house immediately, due to another (most likely fictional) group, who were 99% sure they wanted it too.
