The Green Man is located in the village of Long Itchington which lies on the banks of the river Itchen (from which it takes its name) and the Grand Union Canal, which flows between London and Birmingham. This beautiful village houses ancient buildings including a Tudor-timbered house which once saw Queen Elizabeth 1 stay there back in the 1570s.
Long Itchington is just a short 15-minute drive from Leamington. The Green Man nestles in the middle of the old village and has a large car-park. We have a large outdoor seating area to the front and a beer garden with outdoor bar to the rear. Our camping field to the rear of the pub overlooks ideal countryside and in the summer is a mecca for those wishing to soak up the summer sun, close to the banks of the river Itchen.

Services
The main bar of the Green Man has bags of charm with a small bar and plenty of seating (52 covers) and even a small area perfect for poker nights and traditional games. The "olde worlde" feel creates a cosy and friendly ambience which the locals and visitors love. Watch unmissable live sporting events in the rear lounge which is also available to book for private functions.
Our private function room is ideal for parties, celebrations, family gatherings, baby showers, funeral wakes or for friendly get togethers. The light, airy room at the rear of the pub benefits from large aspect windows and doors opening onto the good size garden. The large field is across the car park and is also available for private hire.

A peaceful, grassy field with a friendly pub attached! Lovely walks along river and canal.
The Green Man is under new management.
Access to drinking water and sink in the pub garden. Toilet/chemical waste is a 4 inch pipe 2 - 3 feet off the ground which made emptying the portaloo a very tricky manoeuvre!
Otherwise, we appreciate the simplicity and the friendly welcome. We will stay here regularly so we can visit our mother who lives in the village.
