With 20 years of advising experience, Steve has seen and helped clients in every situation. You can meet Steve in our head office, or in your home. Preston is where David is based, which means he is in a great location for looking after clients in the local area and on the Fylde coast. With over 10yrs in a customer focused environment, Emily's service and attention to detail is second to none.
After 10 years of working with the public in retail on "THE SERVICES" (yes the same one Peter Kay filmed one of his early shows at), Steve fell into the mortgage world in 2000 after applying for an undisclosed job in the back of the Manchester Evening News. It was an "employ everyone and the best will stay", commission only role!
Upon graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Law from Lancaster University she took the logical career step and helped to manage bookshops in various locations around the North West. When she was ready to buy her first home Steve, the company director, was recommended to her, and they got on so well he offered her a job!
Martin has been involved in Financial Services in many various roles for over 30 years. A lot of this time was spent with Halifax where he joined as a 16 year old straight from school on a Youth Training Scheme (Apprenticeship for you youngsters).

Edie (EEEDEE)- As a petit Whippet, Edie maybe the smallest member of our team, but she is certainly not the quietest! 90% of the day she is happily sleeping, but if she slips out of her leopard print blanket, she will let you know, with a high pitch chirp! Ignore her and its get louder and louder, until you have no option, but to recover her.

This is the third time I’ve used Saving-You to arrange a mortgage for me. They have been fantastic every time but this time I’m especially grateful because what I needed was more specific than usual.
Steve and Emily have both been great. They have taken all the stress out of what would’ve been a really complicated application and I’m really happy with the deal they have found for me.
I honestly can’t recommend them enough, friendly helpful service and I was kept up to date every step of the way. Couldn’t ask for more.

I was on quite a high mortgage rate and went to the mortgage experts for advice, I went in quite downcast and thinking there was no way I could get any help as I had some debts, Steve went through all the relevant information and was very positive they would be able to help I came away feeling so happy and could see light at the end of the tunnel, I had some issues with my payslips but Steve and Emily helped me with it all and got me a brilliant deal, to say im over the moon is an under statement, Emily was brilliant and explained all details to me and took me through all the paperwork, I cannot

Me and my partner have just started the process of wanting to buy our first house together. As first time buyers we didn’t really know where to start or anything about the process. We booked an appointment with Steve to talk through all of our options and what the process would be like. As soon as we sat down we felt really comfortable and at ease, Steve took his time to talk us through every step of the journey in detail making sure we understood everything along the way. I've not used a mortgage broker before as I tend to sort the mortgage myself with my bank. I decided to try Steve, Jamie and the team for my remortgage this time and have been extremely impressed with the service. They are the perfect blend of professionalism with the personal touch of a smaller company. They are transparent and experienced which makes it so much easier to make the right choice. We were delighted to get the keys to our first house today!
