Services
In 1929, Ernest Heal founded the family business, operating from his home in Broadwell, Coleford. He provided a very dignified service to the families who trusted him with their loved one's funeral arrangements. The pride in our presentation and the dignified manner in which we undertake all funerals has become a hallmark of our company.
Our Funeral home is situated on South Road, the main street running through Broadwell, and serves the Forest of Dean and districts. The amenities here include a car park, a thoughtfully designed Chapel of Rest with its own private, comfortable ante-room. In addition we have an administration area where we have a welcoming reception room, well-appointed interview rooms and our helpful and caring office team.
Our carefully selected Jaguar hearses and limousines offer the finest fleet of funeral vehicles available. The vehicles are proudly maintained to an extremely high standard and enable us to convey our passengers in the unrivalled luxury they deserve. Other less conventional vehicles such as motorcycle hearses, VW Camper hearses with VW Camper bus for mourners, vintage or modern lorry hearses.
We have a carefully selected range of tributes to present you with a varying collection of designs and colour options. At such a difficult time we would like to support you in choosing your floral tributes and helping with any special requests you may have. From loose, natural designs, to more formal tributes, flowers offer a simple and elegant way to pay your respects and express your feelings.
With increasing numbers of cremations, options available to our clients for dealing with the cremated remains of a loved one have become more varied.

Our funeral directors will be able to advise you of the different options available, whether this is for the burial of ashes in a churchyard, garden of remembrance or designated woodland burial site, scattering in a location the deceased may have fond memories of, or alternatively, options available for the long term retention of cremated remains.
