Services
We are an independent opticians providing a warm, friendly and professional service. Established in 1996 by Farah Nizam (BSc Hons) and Gus Sidhu (BSc Hons MBCO and FBDO Contact Lenses Certificate), who have between them over forty years of experience in providing first rate eye care. We carry out a comprehensive eye health check, providing prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and child eye care.
Funded by NHS - Eye tests are very important for children to ensure their eyes are developing normally, especially between the ages of 3 to 7. Both vision and eye health need to be monitored as children often do not know, or say, that they have a problem. It is advisable for kids to have their eyes tested from the age of 3 or 4, depending on the child's ability, so they are at their best when school starts.
We are now in Tier 4 but are still open for Urgent care and Essential care including those in need of new glasses or contact lenses. If it is time for your routine eye examination, and you are not having any problems, please try to wait until we are back to Tier 3 if possible. Thank You and stay safe.

Hello. I’m very disappointed with the service provided by the company. My whole family make glasses with you and this is the second time that my glasses are completely the opposite of what I told the lady that was ok. The glasses are giving me headaches and my eyes are watering for some reason. I arrived late for my appointment just by 15 min because it was raining a lot and it’s hard to me to go out because I’m blind! No one at the shop and you guys couldn’t see me? Have been using Provision Opticians for over a year now. As a first time glass wearer from my eye test to choosing my frames and the after service I've received has been nothing short of wonderful.
